We were fortunate to work with Elissa on our recent condo purchase. We were in town for a just a few days on holiday and had limited time to look. From the start, Elissa was able to identify the right types of places we were looking for. She quickly searched through available inventory and filtered it for us to further narrow our search. I met Elissa through a listing on Trulia. She showed me two apartments in South Beach that met my criteria for a new rental place. She was warm, friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. She interacted with the other realtors showing the apartments that I was interested in. Elissa asked them important questions that helped me make my decision.
Unfortunately, I experienced a horribly stressful situation as the landlord's realtor was dishonest. The apartment I chose was advertised to me as having an assigned parking space, and that was also stated on the first few documents I signed. However, somewhere along the way, the landlord's realtor changed her story and the documents, and subsequently denied that she had told me about a parking space. Thankfully, I had emails and documents proving what was said to me.
Elissa came to my rescue and consulted her lawyer. They emailed the landlord's office on my behalf. Elissa went above and beyond! She helped me out so much with this nightmare so I'm forever grateful. Even when I had to meet with the realtor who lied to me, Elissa made sure to look out for my best interest. Elissa treated me as a family member would, and spoke on my behalf (to the liar) as I too uncomfortable, anxious, and angry to do so.

From agent to family. Without a doubt, the only reason I have my dream home today is because if Elissa (the best agent in the world). As a first time, highly complicated and picky home owner, I was looking to purchase a condo on Miami Beach. Elissa listen and made note of all the things I was looking for and all things I was not looking for. Not only did she find the perfect condo she did everything she could to save me from myself making bad decisions. She took control of the entire deal by negotiating with the seller, keeping in constant contact with my attorney and following up with my lender. She is highly organized and efficient when it comes to process, documents and follow-up. She held my hand and made sure I was informed of all the risks and opportunities every step of the way. After waiting the mandatory 2 months to close (a requirement from a lender that I picked), the loan was denied because of the condo association. I am sure that you can imagine the type of melt down that this news caused a week before my closing. At this point I didn’t want anything to do with lending ever again. After letting Elissa know about the terrible news (while she was out of the country on vacation), she asked me if I would mind if she spoke to another lender in my behalf to see if they could help. I said that I didn’t mind but that I was over it. This all happened on Friday night, by Sunday I spoke with the new lender who had a great plan that ultimately lowered my original loan amount by $300 a month. I know it is hard to trust people you don’t know but I wish I would have used ALL of Elissa’s resources from the beginning. If I did, I would have closed the deal in 30 days not 100 days and with a lot less stress. Do yourself a favor listen to Elissa, she has your best interest in mind.
